At the request of the communities of Genesee County, the Drain Commissioner's office is implementing the NPDES Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program in compliance with the Clean Water Act.

The Phase II Stormwater Education Program collaborates among local units of government and public organizations to ensure the most efficient use of resources. This partnership facilitates our community’s compliance with federal regulations while supporting our water quality.

Through the Our Water Program, the Genesee County Drain Commissioner's Office - Surface Water Management (SWM) is offering free training on Good Housekeeping and Illicit Discharge (Brochure)
